Twins Squeak by Padres by 19 Runs
The Tucson Twins pulled out a win even though Ben dropped a rare perfect throw from his catcher on a steal attempt. The catcher was so mad that he threw the next pitch on to Alvernon. Ron struck out a bunch… let’s see, Anthony caught a rocket off Miguel’s bat when he was subbing for the Padres out in left field. Whatever….
Twins Beat Dodgers in Non-Nailbiter
Twins come out on top after scoring more runs than the Dodgers on Sunday. Twins took the lead after hitting a bunch of hits, and in turn, forcing runners to cross the plate. Baseball is a complicated game with lots of nuances – the game on Sunday was not complicated. We hit the ball, caught the ball, and threw the ball. Twins Over Diamondbacks in 2nd Win
April 18,2010
Twins stomp the Diamondbacks 23-5 in the second game of a two-game win streak. Mike Torres racks up his second win – and it turns out he can hit too! He hit like 4 hits or something. Miguel had his camera out and got a lot of pictures of Anthony. The team was not full force – missing Ben and Matt (the middle infield) – but Desmond and Ron did a great job up the middle. Miguel did not catch because his back hurt REAL bad. Pat caught. He threw a guy out.

Newly acquired Twins pitcher Mike Torres threw a 6-0 shutout and boosted the Twins confidence level to an even 8 out of 10. When asked about the win, Mike Torres said nothing because he left right after the last out was called.
